Thanks so much for reaching out and thank you for supporting our brand. We are a small family-owned company, so your support means a lot to our team. We are sorry this style didn't live up to your expectations of Telic. This particular style is built with extra room in order to be worn with a sock as a house slipper or sports recovery sandal after training and competition. The raised toe-bar is also an integral part of the design to help keep the sandal on the foot. Having said that, we are planning on launching an adjustable strap slide (hopefully next year), that I think you will like much better.
